Description
The spherical saw is for cutting various materials using a rotary motion, rotating around an arbor using a power-toothed or abrasive disc or blade. A hole saw and ring saw also use a rotary motion, but these are different from a circular saw.
Circular saws can also be used loosely for blades. Circular saws were invented in the late 18th century, and saws were in everyday use in the United States until the mid-19th century.
