Description

Dewatering pumps are centrifugal pumps installed below the groundwater level to take out water for water bodies and, this is performed to lower the water level and maintain the same level.
An example of dewatering pumps would be using it in underground mining, where water penetrating the adits is then pumped up to the surface.
Its general use is to remove water from a volume of liquid material along with solid material or soil.
Pumps help remove liquid from liquid bodies, whereas dewatering pumps separate water from another material, such as separating water from soil or sludge.
